La lévothyroxine, aussi connue sous le nom de L-thyroxine, T4 synthétique ou 3,5,3',5'-tetraiodo-L-thyronine, est une forme synthétique de la thyroxine (hormone thyroïdienne). Comme l'hormone est chimiquement de la forme L (au lieu de D, voir stéréochimie), elle est métabolisée plus lentement que la thyroxine naturelle, et possède donc une durée de demi-vie plus longue dans l'organisme.
En France, cette molécule est commercialisée sous le nom de Levothyrox®.
