Internationale libérale

L'Internationale libérale représente une fédération mondiale des partis politiques libéraux et radicaux (sociaux-libéraux) du monde entier, fondée en 1947 sous l'appellation Union mondiale des partis libéraux. Cette association a actuellement son siège à Londres.

Frits Bolkestein, auteur d'un projet de directive de l'Union européenne de libéralisation des services, est son président de 1996 à 1999. Le président sénégalais Abdoulaye Wade en a été vice-président dans les années 1970.
