Anishnaabe ou Anishnabek ou Anishnabeg signifie « peuple des origines » (« original people »). Cette appellation inclut les Algonquins, les Outaouais, les Ojibwés et les Potawatomis, des tribus autochtones parlant une racine de langues algonquines présentant une certaine similitude.
