Mary Sidney

Mary Sidney (27 octobre 1561–25 septembre 1621), comtesse de Pembroke et sœur du poète Philip Sidney, est une femme de lettres britannique.

En 1590, elle a traduit du français vers l'anglais la tragédie de Robert Garnier Marc-Antoine (1578) : The Tragedy of Antonie, publiée en 1592. William Shakespeare l'a peut-être utilisée pour son Antoine et Cléopâtre (1607)[1].
