MathPlayer est un programme de Design Science permettant l'affichage de formules mathématiques en MathML dans le navigateur Internet Explorer. Contrairement à Firefox ou aux versions récentes d'Opera, il est nécessaire d'utiliser un greffon tel que MathPlalyer ou Techexplorer pour qu'Internet Explorer puisse interpréter les équations écrites en MathML.
MathPlayer peut interpréter les équations de plusieurs manières. En plus de l'affichage graphique de l'équation, il est possible de l'agrandir ou de la faire lire à haute voix à un système de synthèse vocale, ce qui le rend attractif pour les malvoyants.
Bien que gratuit, MathPlayer utilise une licence propriétaire restreignant son utilisation dans certains cas.
