Monteverdi Choir

Le Monteverdi Choir est un chœur fondé en 1964 par Sir John Eliot Gardiner à l'occasion d'une représentation des Vêpres de la Vierge de Monteverdi à la chapelle de King's College de l'université de Cambridge.

Pèlerinage des cantates de Bach

En 2000, à l'occasion du 250e anniversaire de la mort de Jean-Sébastien Bach, le Monteverdi Choir a entrepris une tournée ambitieuse, le Pèlerinage des cantates de Bach (Bach Cantata Pilgrimage) avec l'ensemble The English Baroque Soloists durant laquelle il a interprété l'intégralité des cantates sacrées de Bach dans plus de 60 églises européennes. Les enregistrements réalisés ont été publiés sous le propre label de Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Soli Deo Gloria.
