Nekauba ou Nechepso est le nom que donne l'historien antique Manéthon au roi « gouverneur » (ou régent) qui gouverne Saïs de -688 à -672[1] sous les XXIVe et XXVe dynasties égyptiennes.

Nechepso soutient un mouvement de rébellion contre les Nubiens (XXVe dynastie) et dans le même temps Taharqa est repoussé une première fois par les Assyriens et regagne Napata, annonçant les prémices de la future dynastie saïte. On voit l'apparition d'une renaissance artistique inspirée de l'Ancien Empire. Il est le dernier souverain que l'on appelle « Proto-Saïte ».
