Nenagh (An tAonach en Irlandais) est la plus grande ville du comté de Nord Tipperary, République d’Irlande avec une population de 7.424 habitants en 2006. La ville est située sur la rivière Nenagh qui se jette dans le fleuve Lough Derg (Munster) à Dromineer, un centre de nautisme célèbre situé à 9 km au Nord-Ouest.
Comme son nom en irlandais l'indique – An tAonach signifie "La Foire", à savoir l' Aonach Urmhumhan ou grande foire régionale d'Ormond (Munster oriental), célébrée autrefois à cet endroit – Nenagh fut à l'origine une ville de marché. Elle reste un centre de commerce animé.
