Bobangis

Les Nunu ou Banunu au Congo-Kinshasa et Moye ou Moyi au Congo-Brazzaville, sont un groupe ethnique assimilé aux Bobangi. Ils sont souvent appelés Nunu-Bobangi ou Moye-Bobangi car ils partagent leur langue (ou parlent un dialecte proche) et ont une culture très similaire, ils ont probablement une origine commune.

En République Démocratique du Congo, les Nunu sont principalement installés dans les terres des Batende dans les territoires de Bolobo, Yumbi et dans les territoires d’Inongo, et les territoires de Lukolela et Bolomba [1]. Au Congo-Brazzaville, ceux-ci sont concentrés dans la région des Plateaux[2].

Selon la tradition orale, les villages moye ou nunu de Moye et Likuba ont été fondés par Ngobila[3]. Ceci les différencie des autres Bobangi[4].
