Entourage Fonky Family

Guilhem Gallart, alias Pone, né à Toulouse en 1973, est le producteur attitré du groupe marseillais Fonky Family. Sa musique, évoluant dans des courants électroniques similaires à ceux d'autres producteurs avant-gardistes comme DJ Mehdi, fait appel à de nombreux samples de classiques disco, pop, soul et funk.

  • Le morceau Noyd du groupe américain Mobb Deep, dont Pone admire le travail, contient un sample de la chanson Somebody's Gonna Off the Man de Barry White, sample commun à un morceau qu'avait auparavant produit Pone pour KDD, Ghetto Cocaïne, dont Mobb Deep semble s'être également inspiré pour le refrain.
  • Les morceaux Aux Absents de la Fonky Family et Empty Out (Reload) du groupe Infamous Mobb (affilié à Mobb Deep) partagent également le même sample. Là encore, le morceau de Pone était sorti bien avant.
