Pye Thein dans les années 1980
Pye Thein [ ?.- …] (Pyae Htum). Grand expert birman de Thaing du 20e siècle. Il a formé de nombreuses générations de pratiquants et d’enseignants et devenu véritable une légende du Thaing en Birmanie. Il a organisé des compétitions durant la seconde guerre mondiale opposant des Birmans à des Japonais.
