La Rainbow Family (The Rainbow Family of Living Light) est un mouvement alternatif international dont le but est d'amener paix et amour sur la Terre. Il a été formé en 1972, quand environ 20 000 personnes se sont assemblées à la première Rainbow Gathering dans une forêt nationale du Colorado.
La Rainbow Family est une "non-organisation". Il n'y a pas de leader, pas d'organisation, pas de porte-parole officiel, pas plus que de membres désignés.
