sir Ralph Abercromby (Menstry, Clackmannanshire 7 octobre 1734 – Aboukir 28 mars 1801), fut un général britannique, originaire d'Écosse.
Il fit les campagnes de Flandre et de Hollande contre les Français en 1793-1794, combattit dans les Antilles et la Guyane en 1795, commanda en Irlande en 1798, puis fut mis à la tête de l'armée envoyée en Égypte. II y remporta un avantage sur les Français à la bataille de Canope, mais il fut blessé mortellement (21 mars 1801) et mourut une semaine après.
