Ready To Die est le 1er album du rappeur Notorious B.I.G. paru le 13 septembre 1994. Il a été certifié 4x platine (plus de 4 millions d'exemplaires écoulés) le 19 octobre 1999. Malgré ses paroles assez violentes et crues, l'album fait un véritable carton commercial tout en récoltant des critiques très positives de la part des médias. Cela est d'autant plus surprenant car à cette époque, la West Coast occupait le devant de la scène Hip-Hop. Le titre ready to die (prêt a mourir) est dû au fait que Notorious B.I.G affirmait que la mort ne l'effrayait pas et qu'il savait qu'il n'allait pas avoir une très longue vie. Cet album est produit par le label Bad Boy Records (le label créé par Diddy). Cet album signe le lancement de ce label maintenant classique dans l'industrie du rap américain.
