Rodney Cline "Rod" Carew (né le 1er octobre 1945 à Gatun, Panamá) est un ancien joueur de la Ligue majeure de baseball. Il a passé 19 saisons dans les ligues majeures, accumulant 3 053 coups sûrs en 2 469 parties. Sa moyenne au bâton en carrière est de 0,328, la 37e meilleure moyenne de l'histoire des ligues majeures (à la fin de la saison 2007). Il a gagné 7 fois le titre de la meilleure moyenne au bâton, seul Ty Cobb en a gagné plus dans la Ligue américaine. Il a frappé son 3 000e coup sûr le 4 août 1985. Le 19 janvier 2004 le stade national de Panamá fut renommé le Rod Carew Stadium. Le numéro de son uniforme (29) a été retiré par les Twins et les Angels.
