Sir Roger Hollis (1905-1973) fut le Directeur de MI5 après que Dick White eut été nommé au poste de Directeur de MI6 entre 1956 et 1965. Il a été accusé d'être un espion à la solde de l'Union soviétique avec MacLean, Blunt, Burgess et Philby dans le livre Spy Catcher de Peter Wright.
Roger Hollis avait été fait Chevalier commandeur de l'Ordre de l'Empire britannique (KBE) et Compagnon de l'Ordre du Bain (1956)[1].
