Roy Sætre Khantatat (dit Khan) est un chanteur norvégien. Il a étudié pendant 3 ans l'opéra avant de se lancer dans la carrière musicale. Il débute en 1991 dans le groupe métal norvégien Conception pour rejoindre en 1997 le groupe Kamelot. Il coécrit les chansons du groupe avec le fondateur Thomas Youngblood. En 2005, Roy réintégre son précédent groupe pour le festival ProgPower VI aux USA.
Le 22 avril 2011, lors de la tournée de promotion du nouvel album Poetry for the Poisoned de Kamelot, Roy Khan annonce son départ officiel du groupe.
