Schéma régional de gestion sylvicole

Après les ORF (Orientations régionales forestières), le schéma régional de gestion sylvicole (ou SRGS) est en France un document écrit par les Commission régionale de la forêt et des produits forestiers (CRFPF), pour chaque région forestière. Il donne des orientations et recommandations de gestion à suivre pour une gestion durable des forêts.

Utilité

Les SRGS sont un cadre pour les plans simples de gestion (ou PSG) établis par les propriétaires forestiers privés (pour 10 à 20 ans). Ces PSG doivent respecter le SRGS de la région concernée pour être agréés.

Différentes administrations veillent à leur application (DIREN ou futures DREAL, pour l'Environnement, et DDAF devenues DDEA pour l'Agriculture et forêt.. mais aussi DRAC et services départementaux architecture et patrimoine (SDAP) pour certains zonages de classement de type ZPPAU par exemple.

Annexes vertes

Les CRPF de chaque région forestière peuvent (volontairement) rédiger avec différents partenaires(dont associations de protection de la nature) des « Annexes Vertes » qui seront ajoutées au SRGS, pour chacun des zonages règlementaires), ensuite soumis à avis de la commission régionale de la forêt et des produits forestiers.
