Simply Market est une enseigne française de supermarchés apparue en 2005. Cette enseigne est un nouveau concept visant à remplacer à terme les supermarchés Atac. Cette enseigne appartient à AuchanSuper, filiale qui gère la branche supermarché du groupe Auchan. Le groupe envisage d'ouvrir 500 supermarchés Simply Market en France jusqu'en 2015[1].
Historique
- 1959 : Ouverture du premier supermarché Doc à Bagneux
- 1985 : Création du premier supermarché Atac
- 1996 : Rachat du groupe Docks de France (supermarchés Atac et hypermarchés Mammouth) par Auchan
- 1998 : Naissance de la société Atac, filiale AuchanSuper
- 2005 : Lancement de l'enseigne Simply Market : ouverture d'un premier supermarché à Bagneux (8 décembre)[2]
- 2009 : Transformation de l'ensemble des magasins Atac en Simply Market (sauf 82 magasins restant sous l'enseigne Atac et dépendants du groupe Schiever)
- 2009 : Lancement de 42 magasins internet en Ile de France, livraison à domicile ou emporté.
