Sly the Mic Buddah ou Sly Johnson est un membre du groupe de rap français Saïan Supa Crew.
Biographie
De son vrai nom Silvère Johnson, Sly Johnson vient de Montrouge dans les Hauts-de-Seine et est originaire du Congo Brazzaville.
Sly Johnson a exercé au sein du groupe Saian Supa Crew pendant plus d'une dizaine d'années.
En 2004 puis en 2008, on le retrouve aux côtés de la chanteuse Camille. En 2005 il sort un maxi vinyl 4 titres intitulé Sumthin That U Never Heard Before incluant des duos avec Wildchild de Lootpack et Declaime aka Dudley Perkins où il y reprend le fameux thème d'Isaac Hayes Shaft entièrement à la voix. Il a aussi collaboré avec la chanteuse Rokia Traoré sur l'album Tchamantché, la chanteuse Grace sur l'album Hall of Mirrors, le groupe D3ccpt sur l'album The Movement, également le rappeur Oxmo Puccino sur l'album L'Arme de paix et collaboré avec le trompettiste Erik Truffaz donnant l'album duo Paris sur le label Blue Note.
Son 1er album solo est prévu pour l'année 2010.
