Parti socialiste (Angleterre et du pays de Galles)
Le Socialist Party (England and Wales) est un parti trotskyste présent en Angleterre et au Pays de Galles. Il est membre du Comité pour une Internationale ouvrière (CIO), internationale trotskyste présente dans 40 pays, dont il est la plus grosse section.
Le Socialist Party voit sa création au début des années 1990 après la décision de sortir du Labour Party au sein duquel il pratiquait l'entrisme. À l'époque, il était connu sous le nom de son journal : Militant Tendency.
La décision de quitter la social-démocratie mena à une grande scission qui vit le départ de Ted Grant, un des membres fondateurs du groupe.
Son actuel secrétaire général est Peter Taaffe. Il n'a rien à voir avec le Parti socialiste de Grande-Bretagne.
