Space Channel 5 est un jeu vidéo développé par United Game Artists et édité par Sega pour les consoles Dreamcast (2000), PlayStation 2 (2003) et Game Boy Advance (2004, développé et édité par Atari).
Ce jeu vidéo propose d'incarner une apprentie reporter pour la chaîne de télévision spatiale "Space Channel 5", Ulala ; le but du jeu est de sauver des êtres humains en dansant et en chantant. Dans les derniers niveaux du jeu, Ulala est accompagnée par Michael Jackson, qui apparaît sous le nom de Space Michael.
Principe du jeu
Le jeu se compose d'une succession de niveaux linéaires, dans lesquels évolue l'héroïne. Au fur et a mesure de la progression, elle rencontre des extra-terrestres, les Moroliens, qui tentent de dominer les humains en les forçant à danser. Pour les vaincre et libérer les humains, le joueur doit reproduire leurs danses, à la manière du Simon.
