Saint-Gall (en allemand Sankt Gallen) est la septième ville de Suisse et le chef-lieu du canton de Saint-Gall. La commune de Saint-Gall compte 70 375 habitants (en 2006) et a été fondée sur l'ermitage du moine irlandais Gall au VIIe siècle.

Université de Saint-Gall

Nom allemand : Universität St. Gallen (Hochschule für Wirtschafts-, Rechts- und Sozialwissenschaften – HSG). Elle offre des formations en sciences économiques et sociales et en droit. Créée en 1898, elle est considérée comme l'une des universités les plus prestigieuses du monde germanophone sur le plan des écoles de commerce, d'économie et de gestion.
