Su Shi
Su Shi (蘇軾) (1036 - 1101), connu aussi sous son surnom Su Dongpo (蘇東坡), est l'un des plus grands écrivains chinois.
Auteur de nombreux poèmes, essais et lettres, il exprima la sagesse chinoise dans ce qu'elle a de plus attachant. Il fut aussi peintre et calligraphe.
Le peintre français de natures mortes Jacques Linard a représenté dans ses tableaux une coupe en céramique ornée d'un poème de ce lettré : L'Ode à la falaise rouge. Ceci à trois reprises : en 1627, 1638 et 1640.
