Le Taipei Times est un quotidien Taïwanais de langue anglaise, publié à Taipei, fondé en 1999.

Suivant son slogan, il se veut un journal « apportant Taïwan au monde et le monde à Taïwan » (Bringing Taiwan to the World and the World to Taiwan).

Le Taipei se veut objectif et voué à une meilleure connaissance de l'île de Taïwan pour les lecteurs étrangers, en présentant un panorama varié mais détaillé de la vie politique, économique, sociale et culturelle de l'île de Taïwan.

La pagination varie, selon les jours, entre 20 et 24 pages. Le journal est diffusé en kiosques et autres points de vente de presse et sur abonnements.

Le journal revendique un tirage papier d'environ 285 000 exemplaires en octobre 2002, dont environ 188 000 diffusés dans le nord de l'île, 55 000 dans la partie centrale et environ 40 000 dans la partie méridionale.
