The Willowz est un groupe de garage rock formé en 2002, originaire de Anaheim, en Californie. Leur musique est influencée par du punk, de la soul et du blues des années 1960, 1970 et 1980. Le groupe a sorti plusieurs albums sur le label Sympathy for the Record Industry et a sorti son nouvel opus Chautauqua chez Dim Mak Records.
The Willowz a été reconnu échelle nationale (aux États-Unis) pour avoir été finaliste de Who's Next en décembre 2005.
Le groupe a collaboré avec Michel Gondry sur le clip de "I Wonder" et a à son tour produit deux morceaux sur la bande originale pour le film de Gondry Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. "Making Certain" et "Ulcer Soul" ont été utilisées dans le film La Science des rêves en 2006.
Le quatrième album du groupe Everyone est sorti le 29 mars 2010 chez GUM (Green United Music). C'est à ce jour l'un de leurs meilleurs albums (selon le rédacteur de cet article, mais peut-être peut on y comprendre par "un de leurs meilleurs albums" que les quatre albums sont les meilleurs - addendum d'un second rédacteur). Une tournée est prévue dans toute la France au printemps.
