Thunderbirds are Now! est un groupe de musique de Détroit de post-punk et mélangeant les univers du punk rock traditionnel et des musiques électroniques.
Leur son est largement influencé par la new wave (années 1980) et d'autres groupes dits post-punk tel Les Savy Fav.
Leur dernier LP est signé sur le label indépendant Frenchkiss Records, ils comptent également deux sorties sur le label Action Driver Records ainsi qu'un album sorti en auto-production.
