Tobias Sammet's Avantasia est un projet de metal symphonique formé par Tobias Sammet, leader et auteur-compositeur du groupe de power metal allemand Edguy. Sammet se consacre entièrement à l'écriture, la composition, et a la production. Avantasia a actuellement enregistré trois albums.
