Trooping the Colour (le « salut aux couleurs ») est une parade militaire annuelle célébrant l'anniversaire officiel du souverain britannique depuis 1748 ; Au Royaume-Uni, la revue porte également le nom de "The Queen's Birthday Parade" (le défilé pour l'anniversaire officiel de la reine). Cette parade a lieu sur Horse Guards Parade, immense place à proximité de St James's Park et de Buckingham Palace, à Londres.
Cette cérémonie a toujours lieu lors du mois de juin, bien que la reine Elisabeth II soit née un 21 avril. Mais le choix de cette date d'anniversaire officiel a été conditionné par la météorologie, les organisateurs souhaitant profiter du temps plus clément du mois-là.
