Tropic est une localité américaine située dans le comté de Garfield, dans l’Utah. Selon le recensement de 2000, sa population s’élève à 508 habitants. La densité est de 23,4 hab/km² (60,6 hab/mi²), et la superficie totale de 21,8 km² (8,4 mi²).

Les premiers occupants ont appelé l’endroit ainsi car le climat y était plus doux qu’à Panguitch, siège du comté, d’où ils venaient.
