Université de Pennsylvanie
L'Université de Pennsylvanie (en anglais, University of Pennsylvania, souvent abrégée en Penn ou Upenn) est une université privée américaine dont le siège est à Philadelphie. Elle fait partie de la Ivy League, association informelle regroupant les huit universités les plus anciennes et les plus célèbres des États-Unis. C'est en particulier là-bas qu'a été créé l'ENIAC, le premier ordinateur.

Cette université a été créée par Benjamin Franklin en 1740. L'institution est connue sous le nom de College of Philadelphia de 1755 à 1779. En 1791, cette première institution fusionne avec University of the State of Pennsylvania et devient University of Pennsylvania Après avoir été située dans le centre ville de Philadelphie, l'université déménage en 1872 à l'ouest de la rivière Schuylkill dans un quartier aujourd'hui appelé University city.
The Wharton School
Elle abrite la Wharton School, considérée comme une des meilleures écoles de management (business school) mondiales.
