La famille des Wintéracées est une famille de plantes angiospermes archaïques comportant 120 espèces réparties en 9 genres:
- Drimys, Belliolum, Bubbia, Exospermum, Pseudowintera, Takhtajania, Tasmannia, Tetrathalamus, Zygogynum.
Ce sont des arbres ou des arbustes de l'hémisphère sud Malaisie, Australie, Nouvelle-Zélande, Amérique du Sud et Amérique centrale.
