X&Y est un album du groupe d’alternatif britannique Coldplay, sorti le 6 juin 2005.

Le chanteur Chris Martin a expliqué ainsi le titre de l'album : « D'où ce titre X&Y qui met l'accent sur la bonne balance, les opposés qui s'attirent ou ne fonctionnent qu'avec leur équivalent. »

X&Y est un album qui s'écoute du début à la fin. Les pistes se suivent pour former un unique opus. On sent dès les premières notes qu'une histoire se prépare. Histoire qui atteint son apogée au milieu de « Fix You ». La tournée qui a suivi cet album est probablement comparable à un spectacle de Pink Floyd vu le déploiement de lumières et de projections qui accompagne la prestation.
