Abraham Holzmann était un compositeur américain de musique ragtime, d'origine hongroise par son père. Né en 1874 à New York, il composa des cakewalks au début du XXe siècle, la première forme que prit le ragtime. Holzmann est aussi connu pour avoir composé des marches, et des valses. Il composa le célèbre Smoky Mokes. Il décéda en 1939 à 64 ans, dans le New Jersey
