Alfred A. Knopf est une maison d'édition basée à New York aux États-Unis fondée en 1915 par Alfred A. Knopf, Sr. Elle fait partie depuis 1960 du groupe Random House.

La maison d'édition est fondée en 1915 par Alfred A. Knopf, Sr, qui dès 1918 en fait une incorporation avec son épouse Blanche Knopf pour vice-présidente. Ils éditent des auteurs du monde entier. À la mort de Knopf en 1932, Blanche Knopf est rejointe par William A. Koshland qui pendant 50 ans conduira la ligne éditorial de l'entreprise.

En 1991, la maison d'édition fait revivre la collection Everyman's Library fondée au début du siècle en Angleterre pour publier les grands classiques de la littérature mondiale.
