Barry Robert O'Farrell (né le 24 mai 1959) est un homme politique libéral australien et le 43e premier ministre de Nouvelle-Galles du Sud, ministre de Sydney Ouest, député de Ku-ring-gai depuis 1999.
Né à Melbourne, au Victoria, en 1959, O'Farrell s'installe avec sa famille à Darwin dans le Territoire du Nord, où il a terminé ses études à St John's College. En 1975 O'Farrell s'installe à Canberra pour étudier à l'Université nationale australienne, où il a licence de lettres. Après avoir été employé et agent électoral du Parti libéral, O'Farrell est élu Directeur du Parti libéral de l'État de Nouvelle-Galles du Sud de 1992 à 1995. À l'élection de 1995, O'Farrell esté élu député de Northcott. Après avoir occupé pendant plusieurs années des postes ministériels du gouvernement fantôme et avoir été le leader adjoint du parti de 1999 à 2002 et en 2003, il en devient le leader en avril 2007, après la démission du chef du Parti Debnam Peter. Il devient premier ministre lors de l'élection de 2011.
