En 2010, The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC est une holding financière qui détient des capitaux pour l'essentiel dans Best Buy Europe Group et dans Virgin Mobile France[1]. Elle est un distributeur indépendant de téléphones mobiles et de services de télécommunications en Europe. Depuis sa création, son concept est fondé sur l'indépendance envers les constructeurs et les intermédiaires, ayant pour but de garantir l'impartialité du conseil[2].

Best Buy Europe Group est un distributeur d'équipements et de services de téléphonie mobile à travers les deux sociétés The Carphone Warehouse et The Phone House. En complément, elle assure un service d'assistance au consommateur via l'entreprise Geek Squad et elle édite le magazine Best Buy Mobile Magazine.

The Phone House est une entreprise de vente de téléphones portables créée en France en 1996 par Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux et Pierre Cuilleret. Avec plus de 300 magasins en propre et 1 600 collaborateurs dans toute la France, The Phone House est le no 1 de la distribution indépendante en télécommunications en France.

Virgin Mobile France
