Dean Kilpatrick était un membre de l'équipe technique de Lynyrd Skynyrd né le 30 mai 1949 et décédé le 20 octobre 1977 à Gillsburg dans l'accident d'avion qui décima Lynyrd Skynyrd et couta la vie à Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines et Cassie Gaines. Il occupait les fonctions d'assistant-road manager et travaillait depuis le début des années 70 avec les musiciens du groupe quand Lynyrd Skynyrd s’appelait encore One Percent.
