Don Mankiewicz (né le 20 janvier 1922) est un scénariste.
Né à Berlin, en Allemagne, il est le fils de Herman J. Mankiewicz. Il a été nommé pour l'Oscar 1958 du meilleur scénario adapté pour I Want to Live! Parmi ses nombreuses apparitions télévisées on note Ironside, pour lequel il a écrit le pilote, l'original de Star Trek (épisode "Court-Martial") et la mini-série de l'adaptation du livre du président John F. Kennedy: Profiles in Courage. Son fils est le scénariste / producteur John Mankiewicz.
