Erskine Hawkins (né le 26 juillet 1914 à Birmingham (Alabama), mort le 11 novembre 1993 à New York)[1] est un musicien de jazz, trompettiste et compositeur.

Il est connu comme étant le compositeur du morceau Tuxedo Junction, composé en 1939 avec Bill Johnson, mais aussi de After Hours et Tippin' In.

Il a été influencé par Louis Armstrong[1], et a lui même influencé Ray Charles[1]. En tant que trompettiste talentueux et leader de big band, il a été surnommé « The 20th Century Gabriel ».
