Frank Wright (9 juillet 1935, Grenada (Mississippi) - 17 mai 1990, Wuppertal), était un saxophoniste de free jazz.

Biographie

Frank Wright était bassiste à l'origine, il a notamment travaillé à ce titre avec B. B. King et Bobby "Blue" Bland[1]. Son style est souvent comparé à celui de Albert Ayler qui était une de ses influences principale. Il jouait également du saxophone soprano et de la clarinette basse.
