Campagne d'Espagne

La Bataille de Raab eut lieu le 14 juin 1809, entre les forces franco-italiennes et les armées autrichiennes. Elle se déroula près de Győr en Hongrie et se termina par une victoire de l'armée franco-italienne. Cette victoire empêcha l'archiduc Jean-Baptiste d'Autriche d'apporter d'importants renforts lors de la Bataille de Wagram, alors que les forces du Prince Eugène de Beauharnais purent rejoindre à temps Napoléon à Vienne pour se battre à Wagram. Napoléon qualifia cette bataille de “ petite-fille de Marengo et de Friedland” [6].
