Hong Kong Monetary Authority

La Hong Kong Monetary Authority (Autorité Monétaire de Hong Kong) est la banque centrale de la ville de Hong Kong. Elle a été établie le 1er avril 1993 lors de la fusion de lOffice of the Exchange Fund et lOffice of the Commissionner of Banking[1]. Elle a pour missions :

  • maintenir la stabilité monétaire
  • maintenir la stabilité du système bancaire
  • renforcer Hong Kong dans sa position de place financière mondiale
  • gérer le fonds de change

Hong Kong Monetary Authority Investment Portfolio

Le Hong Kong Monetary Authority Investment Portfolio est un fonds souverain détenu par la Hong Kong Monetary Authority et qui a pour objectif de gérer les excédents commerciaux de la ville de Hong Kong. Créé en avril 1993, il gère environ $140 milliards. L'Investment Portfolio fait partie, avec le Backing Portfolio, des actifs à disposition de la banque centrale.
