I Am Not A Human Being est le huitième album studio du rappeur américain Lil Wayne, sorti le 27 septembre 2010 sur Internet, le jour de ses 28 ans alors qu'il se trouvait en prison, et le 12 octobre en magasins.
Il a débuté à la 2e place du Billboard 200, puis est tombé à la 16e place la semaine suivante pour remonter et se classer numéro 1. C'est le deuxième album de Lil Wayne à être numéro 1 après Tha Carter III. Cet album a reçu des critiques positives de la part de la presse et des acheteurs.
Historique
Le 4 aout 2010 Billboard a annoncé la sortie de cet album et son premier extrait Right Above It qui est arrivé dans le top 10 au États-Unis. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Jay Sean, Lil' Twist, Tyga, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Lil' Chuckee et T-Streets sont tous présents sur cet album. Au départ cet album ne devait être qu'un album viral mais le manager de Lil' Wayne, Cortez Bryant a déclaré à SPIN qu'il serait finalement mis en vente comme un album studio, ces chansons devaient à la base être sur Tha Carter IV mais Wayne a finalement changé d'avis et refera surement Tha Carter IV à sa sortie de prison.
Birdman a aussi déclaré que il n'y aurait pas d'auto-tune sur cet album.
