Ibn Madini (161 – 234 A.H) (arabe:علي بنُ عبدِ اللهِ بنِ جعفر بنِ نجيح بنِ بكر بن سعد) est un spécialiste du hadith.
Biographie
Il naquit à Bassorah et y a vécu. C'est pour cela qu'il a été nommé par certains El-Basri.
Il fut célèbre par sa grande connaissance des hadith. Son père et son grand-père étaient aussi des grands connaisseurs de hadith.
Œuvres
La plupart de ses œuvres ont été perdues. Al-Hakem les a énuméré comme ceci:
- Kitab Al Assami wa Kouna , le livre des prénoms et des surnoms.
- Kitab Ad-Dhoâfaâ, Le livre des rapporteurs non fiables.
- Kitab Al-Moudallissine, le livre des menteurs.
- Kitab Aoual man Nadhar fi arrijal, Le livre du Pionner dans la science des biographies des rapporteurs.
- Kitab attabkat.
- etc.
