Le Jazz Standard est un club de jazz situé au 116 Est 27e rue, Lexington Avenue, dans le quartier du East Village à Manhattan. Il se trouve au sous-sol du restaurant Blue Smoke, un concept contemporain de barbecue et bar à vins.

Ouvert en 1990 par James Polsky, un ancien batteur de jazz, il a succédé au Jazz Standard Night Club. Le club de jazz occupe l'emplacement d'une ancienne fabrique de parfums, la Rosenblum Perfume Factory, dont certaines tuyauteries ont été conservées et se mèlent au décor[1].

Le Jazz Standard fait partie des grands clubs new-yorkais, où se produisent les plus célèbres musiciens internationaux. Les soirées du samedi sont généralement réservées au Mingus Big Band, et le dimanche après-midi au Jazz Standard Youth Orchestra (JSYO), un ensemble de musiciens adolescents dirigé par le guitariste et arrangeur David O'Rourke.
