John McFarland (né le 2 avril 1992 à Richmond Hill dans la province de l'Ontario au Canada) est un joueur de hockey sur glace professionnel canadien. Il a remporté le Trophée Jack Ferguson.

Biographie

En club

En 2007-2008, McFarland joue avec les Canadiens juniors de Toronto de la Ligue de hockey junior de l'Ontario. En 2008, il remporte le Trophée Jack Ferguson remis annuellement au premier choix du repêchage de la Ligue de hockey de l'Ontario en étant choisi par les Wolves de Sudbury[1]. Il participe avec l'équipe LHO à la Super Serie Subway en 2009.

Lors du repêchage d'entrée dans la Ligue nationale de hockey 2010, il est choisi par les Panthers de la Floride lors de la deuxième ronde[2].
