Aloysius Martin "Lou" Thesz est un catcheur américain né le 24 avril 191à Banat dans le Michigan et mort le 28 avril 2002.
Carrière
Lou Thesz a connu 6 règnes de champion NWA. C'est aussi l'inventeur de la fameuse "Lou Thesz Press" (prise aujourd'hui utilisée par des légendes telles que Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Randy Orton, Trish Stratus, Kelly Kelly et Mickie James). Sa carrière a duré de 1932 à 1972, ce qui fait la plus longue carrière mondiale de l'histoire du catch. Monsieur Lou est considéré comme le créateur de la lutte "catch" qu'on connait, il est aussi le créateur de nombreuses prises dont : STF, Crossface, Suplex, Powerbomb.
Mr Thesz a beaucoup aidé la lutte et il avait beaucoup de rivaux tel que Rikidozan, Inoki .... et il avait aussi des disciples dont le plus connu est Karl Gotch.
