Mireille Guiliano (né le 14 avril 1946, à Moyeuvre-Grande) est un auteur franco-américain.

Biographie

Mireille Guiliano naît le 14 avril 1946, à Moyeuvre-Grande en Moselle. Elle grandit à Rombas, puis à Paris où elle termine ses études secondaires. De 1966 à 1970, elle étudie les littératures française et anglaise à la Sorbonne, obtenant brillamment sa maîtrise. Elle suit par ailleurs les cours de l'Institut supérieur d'interprétation et de traduction obtenant une certification en tant que traducteur-interprète.

Avant de devenir un auteur à temps plein, Mireille Guiliano a été pendant plus de 20 ans, la porte-parole de l’entreprise Veuve Clicquot aux USA, un poste de cadre supérieur chez LVMH.

Mireille Guiliano est l'une des rares femmes a avoir atteint un poste de responsabilité dans l'industrie du luxe. Après le succès de ses ouvrages French Women Don’t Get Fat[1] et French Women for All Seasons, Mireille Guiliano a décidé de se consacrer à sa nouvelle passion , l’écriture.

Mireille Guiliano réside actuellement à Manhattan avec son mari, Edward, président du New York Institute of Technology, et effectue de fréquents voyages en Europe, à Paris et en Provence.
