Richard H. Kirk est un compositeur de musique électronique et un artiste vidéo britannique. Membre fondateur du groupe musical Cabaret Voltaire qui comporte une importante discographie, il est l'un des artistes importants de la première vague de la musique dite "industrielle". Il a également réalisé une cinquantaine d'albums solos et plusieurs albums réalisés en collaboration avec d'autres musiciens. Ses concerts, qu'il accompagne de ses œuvres vidéos, ont été présentés dans plusieurs lieux de diffusions et festivals internationaux importants. Il est considéré comme l'un des précurseurs importants des styles de musiques industrielle et techno.

Discographie

(Albums complets en ordre chronologique de 1978 à maintenant. Les disques de Cabaret Voltaire jusqu'en 1983 sont composés, réalisés et produits en collaboration avec Chris Watson et Stephen Mallinder, puis de 1983 à 1993 en duo avec Mallinder seulement. Les autres projets sont réalisé en solo par Richard H. Kirk sous le pseudonyme qui débute l'entreé (Kirk utilise jusqu'à 30 pseudonymes), sauf Hoodoo Talk en collaboration avec Peter Hope et Sweet Exorcist sur étiquette Warp, un duo avec DJ Parrot. Ses principaux pseudonymes destiné à son travail en solo sont Electronic Eye et Sandoz.
